Wishing on a gray feather...

Two lab experiments, Ama and Bon, escape from their captors in order to reach Paradise, a land high above. But, what is their connection to the monsters that pursue them? This is a story that takes place in a world inhabited by those with wings.

This is a demo of the first part of the game, which includes choices, but none of them will lead you into any routes as it is an early part of the game. This is a visual novel developed in Ren'py made to look like a long lost 1997 Sega Saturn video game, complete with purposely low-res graphics, FMVs, and audio. Included with the .exe is a .pdf manual with game information.

In the final game there will be 4 endings to reach, more animated FMVs, and a gallery with CGs, concept art, and character profiles to fill out and see.

Update 8/24/24: New dialogue/scene added, as well as some new/updated artwork, to bring it in line with the full version of the game. Age rating bumped up to 17+.

Update 6/8/24: Further updates to the demo including blips for character text, new screen effects, and other art/script refinements. The manual has also updated to reflect these changes.

Update 6/6/24: Demo updated with some new art for character portraits and a fix to an oversight regarding not being able to access the main menu by right clicking/pressing ESC unless you load a save. The PDF manual was updated to reflect this fix.

Install instructions

Game is an .exe (Windows/Linux) and an .app (Mac).

For Windows users: Unzip contents into a folder of your choice and run the .exe to play.

(Note: Game not tested with a Mac due to developing within a Windows environment, but Ren'py should have exported everything to an .app just fine.)
